Serving Cochrane
For Cochrane hosts whose guest list needs more room
When a Cochrane guest list reaches the hundreds, the search usually widens to Calgary — and from town, the hall is about forty to forty-five minutes away via Highway 1A and Stoney Trail.
Celebrating from Cochrane
Plenty of Cochrane celebrations happen in town. When the guest list reaches the hundreds — a full wedding, a milestone anniversary, a fundraiser dinner for a whole community — the search usually widens to Calgary, and a single hall for up to 500 becomes the simpler answer.
Getting here
From Cochrane, take Highway 1A east toward Calgary, where it becomes Crowchild Trail, then join Stoney Trail and follow it round the north of the city to the north-east. Leave Stoney Trail at McKnight Boulevard or 16 Avenue NE and head west toward 36 Street NE and Sunridge.
Parking is free on site, with step-free access to the lobby. For an evening event, it helps to share the route home with guests in advance — the same ring road back, then Highway 1A west.

Why Cochrane hosts choose the hall
One room for the whole list
Up to 500 guests seated in one hall, so the people you invite from Cochrane, Calgary and further afield are all in the same room.
A ring road most of the way
Highway 1A brings you to the edge of the city, and Stoney Trail carries you round the north side to the north-east without city-centre traffic.
Closer to the airport for visitors
Relatives flying in land at YYC, a short drive from the hall, rather than adding the trip west to Cochrane before the celebration even starts.

Cochrane questions
What guests and hosts travelling in usually ask. Anything else, call us — we reply the same day.
Is the drive from Cochrane realistic for an evening event?
Yes. Allow about forty to forty-five minutes each way, more in winter or at weekday rush hour, and include the address and route with the invitation so guests are not working it out on the night.
Do you come to Cochrane to cater or decorate?
No. Our kitchen, decor and stage are all at the hall in Calgary, and every event we host takes place there. Keeping food, decor and timing under one roof is how the room you tour is the room you celebrate in.
How do guests flying in reach the hall?
Calgary International Airport (YYC) is a short drive from the hall, so guests do not need to travel out to Cochrane first. Tell us your start time and we can suggest when they should aim to arrive.
Tell us your date
We reply to every enquiry the same day — including the ones where the honest answer is that the date has gone.
