Serving Calgary NW

A banquet hall for NW Calgary, one ring road away

From Tuscany, Royal Oak or Evanston, Stoney Trail brings you round to the north-east without going near downtown — roughly half an hour to a hall that holds up to 500.

  • Roughly 20–30 minutes by car, via Stoney Trail or 16 Avenue (Highway 1)
  • Up to 500 guests
  • Free parking

Celebrating from Calgary NW

Crossing the city for a celebration is a decision, and we would rather you made it with the facts. From the outer north-west, Stoney Trail runs round the top of the city to the north-east; from the inner communities — Varsity, Brentwood, Dalhousie — 16 Avenue runs straight across. Outside rush hour, most of the north-west is twenty to thirty minutes from the hall.

What makes the drive worthwhile is that one team looks after the evening. The kitchen cooks five cuisines, including Lebanese and Western menus for a mixed guest list, and the decor, stage and programmable colour lighting are arranged in-house — so you are not coordinating three suppliers from the other side of town.

Getting here

From Tuscany, Rocky Ridge, Royal Oak, Evanston and Sage Hill, take Stoney Trail east across the north of the city, then come south on Deerfoot Trail and east toward 36 Street NE. From the inner north-west, 16 Avenue (Highway 1) is the more direct line: head east until you reach 36 Street NE, then turn north toward Sunridge.

Parking is free on site, and the lobby is step-free. Late in the evening the drive home is the same route in reverse, with far less traffic on it.

Why Calgary NW hosts choose the hall

  • A predictable drive

Stoney Trail keeps most of the trip on a freeway, which makes arrival times easier to promise guests than a cross-town drive through the core.

  • Menus for a mixed guest list

Lebanese mezze, Western plates and Indo-Canadian dishes sit alongside North Indian and Pakistani cooking, so a guest list drawn from work, school and family all eat well.

  • Set up for corporate evenings

A raised stage, in-house sound, wireless microphones, a podium and a screen — what a company gala or awards night needs, without hiring AV separately.

Calgary NW questions

What guests and hosts travelling in usually ask. Anything else, call us — we reply the same day.

Call (403) 483-4240See all FAQs

How long is the drive from Tuscany or Royal Oak?

Usually around half an hour via Stoney Trail outside peak traffic. Weekday rush hour can add to that, so for a Friday-evening event we suggest guests set off a little earlier than they think they need to.

Do you only host South Asian events?

No. Our kitchen cooks Lebanese and Western menus as well as Indian, Indo-Canadian and Pakistani, and the hall hosts corporate galas, holiday parties, fundraisers and birthdays alongside weddings.
