Serving Calgary NE
A banquet hall close to home in NE Calgary
Moonlight is on Sunridge Way NE, a short drive from Saddle Ridge, Taradale and the communities around them — close enough that a wedding week of late nights still ends near home.
Celebrating from Calgary NE
For a lot of north-east families, the hall is part of the neighbourhood. Moonlight is on Sunridge Way NE, near Sunridge Mall and the Peter Lougheed Centre, and most NE communities are within a quarter of an hour of the door. That matters most when a wedding is not one evening but several — a Jaggo night, a mehndi and sangeet, then the reception — and everyone has to get home after each.
One hall holds up to 500 guests, with cuisine from our own kitchen and decor arranged in-house. North Indian and Punjabi, Pakistani, Indo-Canadian, Lebanese and Western menus all come from the same kitchen, with halal on request and Jain, satvik and vegetarian preparation — so the people who usually cook for every family occasion get to sit down with everyone else.
Getting here
The hall is at 2886 Sunridge Way NE #105, just off 36 Street NE between 16 Avenue NE and 32 Avenue NE. From most north-east communities it is a short run down 36 Street NE or 52 Street NE, or along Stoney Trail and in on 16 Avenue NE or McKnight Boulevard.
Parking is free on site, with step-free access through to the lobby — useful when grandparents are arriving in their best clothes and the weather has turned.

Why Calgary NE hosts choose the hall
Short drives between nights
A wedding week can mean three or four evenings in a row. When the hall is fifteen minutes from home, late finishes and early arrivals are easier on the family doing all of it.
Relatives landing at YYC
Calgary International Airport is a short drive north of the hall, so family flying in from India, Pakistan or across Canada can come almost straight from arrivals when the timing is tight.
The menu the guest list expects
Punjabi and North Indian cooking, Pakistani karahi and biryani, halal on request, Jain and satvik preparation — all from our own kitchen rather than an outside caterer.

Calgary NE questions
What guests and hosts travelling in usually ask. Anything else, call us — we reply the same day.
How far is the hall from Saddle Ridge and Redstone?
Usually about ten to fifteen minutes by car, depending on the time of day. Most people come down 36 Street NE or 52 Street NE, or take Stoney Trail and come in along 16 Avenue NE or McKnight Boulevard.
Can we see the hall before we book?
Yes. A tour takes about thirty minutes — long enough to walk the hall, stand on the stage and talk through numbers, food and decor. Book a tour or call (403) 483-4240.
Do you host smaller family events, not just weddings?
Yes — birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers and religious celebrations as well as the wedding week. Tell us your guest count and we will tell you honestly how the room looks at that size.
Tell us your date
We reply to every enquiry the same day — including the ones where the honest answer is that the date has gone.
