Staff appreciation, year-end and company milestones
Corporate galas for your own team
An evening for the people who work for you — a year-end gala, a staff appreciation night or a company anniversary, with stage, AV and catering on one contract.
Corporate galas at Moonlight
A corporate gala is your company celebrating itself: the year-end dinner, a staff appreciation night, the tenth or twenty-fifth anniversary of the business. The audience is your own team, often with partners, and the evening should feel like a thank-you rather than another day at work.
We keep it on one contract — the hall, the stage and AV, the food and the decor — so whoever is organising has one conversation instead of four. The hall is a few minutes from Calgary International Airport with free parking on site, which helps when colleagues travel in from other offices.
If the audience is from outside your company — clients, members, an industry — see business galas instead. The room is the same; the evening is built differently.
Stage and AV together
Raised stage, podium, wireless microphones and a screen for the leadership address and the year in review.
Plated or buffet
Course-by-course plated dinner for a formal gala, or buffet lines for a more relaxed one.
The company's colours
Programmable lighting set to your brand palette, then changed for the dance floor after dinner.
A menu for the whole team
Two cuisines on one menu, with halal and vegetarian options, for a workforce that eats differently.
How it comes together
From the first conversation to the last guest out — one team, start to finish.
Brief and date
Send us the date, the headcount and the shape of the evening — speeches, recognition, entertainment.
Tour and consultation
See the room lit for an evening event, then build the menu and the running order with us.
Arrival
Staff arrive from free on-site parking and find their seats from the table plan.
Dinner and recognition
Dinner plated or from the buffet, with the leadership address, long-service recognition and a video on the screen between courses.
The evening turns social
The dance floor in front of the stage opens and the formal part of the night is over.
The room
Most corporate galas seat guests at round tables by team or department, facing the stage for the speeches. Cabaret seating — round tables with the side nearest the stage left open — keeps every guest's view clear through a longer run of speeches. We plan the layout to your headcount, up to 500, and work through the table plan with you before the night.

A mixed team suits a menu with range: a Western plated main beside an Indian or Lebanese option, or a buffet with stations from two kitchens. Halal is available on request, fully vegetarian menus are prepared in every cuisine, vegan and gluten-free dishes are available, and allergies are confirmed in writing before the night. We build the menu with you at a consultation and include a tasting.

What hosts planning corporate galas usually want to know. Anything else, ask us — we reply the same day.
What AV does the hall have?
A raised stage, in-house sound, wireless microphones, a podium and a screen, booked together with the room and the catering on one contract.
Can we present slides or a video?
Yes. The screen and in-house sound are set up for presentations and video; send the files ahead so they can be checked before guests arrive.
Is the hall practical for colleagues travelling in?
We are a few minutes from Calgary International Airport, and parking on site is free for anyone driving.
What is the difference between a corporate gala and a business gala?
A corporate gala is for your own staff. A business gala — an awards night, a conference dinner or an association event — is for an outside audience, and we plan it differently.
